Our Projects
1. Rescue operation
Rescue Operation for Mr. Woody is a Creative student project with the goal of using a structured design process to design, fabricate, build and test a control system in order to compete in a “Rescue operation”. Students participated in teams with their innovative ideas to rescue Mr. Woody from the destructive honey comb alien environment. Problem based learning with student-centered focus, involving design creativity, teamwork and fun, was the core of this operation. Learn more about Rescue Operation for Mr. Woody and the projects that resulted from it.

2. Sustainable tallest tower
The project is designed in such a way that it can be used as a benchmark for sustainable tall tower construction and design. The project focuses on all aspects of sustainability, from the use of materials to the energy consumed during operation. The project will provide insights into the roles and functional responsibilities of each engineering discipline, as well as the engineering professional committee registration and ethical standards required for such a project. The tallest tower will be designed to achieve the highest level of sustainability by using innovative technologies and materials that are environmentally responsible. Learn more about the projects and the basic concepts of engineering design steps and the associated problems.

3. Maqta'a project
Maqta'a project is a student-centered creative bridge design with a span of 6 inches over a length of 2 feet made of sustainable materials (such as popsicles and jute strings for joints). In class, bridges will be loaded with up to 12 Alain 1.5-liter water bottles. The goal is to satisfy the given design restrictions while carrying the maximum load with the fewest popsicle and string joints. Additionally, teams must provide a report outlining how they applied the engineering design process to their bridge design, including an appraisal of their successes and shortcomings.

6. Smart kitchen
The project is designed with a focus on safety, comfort and ease of use. We envision a future where every kitchen has smart features that make cooking more enjoyable and secure. The woman who experienced a kitchen fire was very lucky to have someone else around her who could help, in this situation. She also got out of the house immediately and went to the hospital as soon as possible so that she could get proper treatment for her burns. This would help to prevent accidents and provide a safer environment for the people who work in the kitchen.
